Welcome Letter from the President

As we begin a new school year, I want to welcome each of you and thank you for being part of the South Dakota Association for Career and Technical Education (SDACTE) community. I am honored to serve as your SDACTE President and look forward to the opportunities ahead.

CTE teachers, administrators, counselors, and other professionals have a lasting impact on our students and communities. With overflowing plates and often thankless responsibilities, you continue to prepare students for careers, help the discover their strengths, connect them with industry, and provide experiences that extend far beyond the classroom. Thank you for your dedication to preparing South Dakota students for their futures. You make a difference!
